Mail-In Repairs
If your device is less than a year old and the issue covered by Apple's Limited Warranty the service will be free of charge.
If your unit was purchased in New Zealand and is less than 36 months old (desktops and laptops) or 24 months (mobile devices) it may also be covered under Apple's variable warranty.
Initial quotes can be provided, however these are provisional as the Apple Repair Centre will complete a final assessment and inspection for coverage or quotation, as prices can significantly vary depending on the issue.

Because Apple makes the hardware, the operating system and many applications, Apple products are truly integrated systems. And only AppleCare products give you one-stop service and support from Apple experts, so most issues can be resolved in a single call.
Furthermore, you receive coverage for any accidental damage to your devices at a small service fee. The rest is covered by Apple.
